meiosis 1, chromosomes thicken and become visible . each chromosomes duplicates into a pair of homologous chromosomes. the cell divisble at stage 1 and the pair of homologous chromosomes separate and move to opposite poles . two daugtherbcells are produced.
meiosi 2, the cell divides at the stage 2.the chromatids separate and move to opposite poles.the second stage of meiosis is completed. four daughter cells are formed. each cell contain half the number of chromosomes of the parent cell [haploid,n]
